I have finally finished the VW bug’s console. I welded the shifter mounts and the e-brake mounting bolts and I am now ready to reinstall the assembly back between the seats.

Tim really cool build. I’m in Georgia and it was Hot this past summer. I drove my Bug back and forth to work every day and some days were close to 98deg. I was hot when stopped but that ol’ aircooled worked perfect. Really cool build I don’t like the V8 Bug conversions but your is different. Great documentation with the vids, I watched all of them Tuesday night. What type line of work are you in, Engineering?
Thanks Bob,
Also thanks for not slamming me for cuttin up an old bug. A BSEE and the fact that I have been doing stuff like this my whole life.
