Now that I have figured out where I am going to locate the ABS pump mount, I need to create a bracket to attach it to the frame. I am using 2 pieces of steel tubing that I will weld together and then bolt it to the ABS mount. The tubing bracket will then be welded to the frame.
Hi, Love your build. amazing to follow. However, do have one question. You seem to be using quite heavy duty steel for mounting things like the ABS pump. I assume you need quite a bit of weight up front considering the engine. Have you calculated anything on the weight??

You are right about the weight up front. I am trying to put some weight into the frame to improve ride quality. I am not too concerned about trying to create a go cart and believe the fiinal weight of the project to be 2200 to 2400 lbs upon completion. It’a a tight ride as it is. With 350 to 400 HP, I don’t think I will have any trouble moving it down the road.
