She’s a roller. Both the VW bug’s front and rear springs are now in place and the entire chassis is floating above the wooden platform. With a bit more strut and spring adjustment I will remove all of the wood jigs and test out the strut travel.

Thanks Scott, I have been getting a few questions on the weight of the frame and the entire rolling chassis. As it sits right now I see the finished chassis with the motor, wheels and tires at about 1600 lbs. Best guess as to the finished weight somewhere around 2400 to 2600 lbs. I really want some weight in the frame for traction and comfort of ride. After all I will be around 400 HP on the motor so I don’t think there will be a problem moving it down the road.
