The Toyota MR2 flywheel and crankshaft needed to be secured (keep from spinning) in order to torque down the crank bolts. I used a small piece of wood backed up with a bolt turned sideways against the tranny locating pin in the block.
I can now install the Toyota MR2 3SGTE flywheel. It had to be machined twice, once for the bolt holes and once for resurfacing.
The MR2 transmission is ready to bolt up to the 2.2 3sgte stroker motor. I am waiting on the flywheel to be returned. The motor is in position to be incorporated into the VW Bug.
I finally get my Toyota MR2 2.2 Stroker engine back from ATS Racing. I am also getting some more parts ready to start the VW Bug rear drivetrain assembly.
While still waiting on my toyota MR2 engine to return, I am spending some more time aligning and planning the VW Bug front end assembly. The conduit is temporary for alignment only.
